Mikrogolf Vyekonfyt

Hierdie is ‘n vinnige resep vir vyekonfyt. Ongelukkig kan mens nie groot volumes kook soos op die stoof nie, maar ‘n goeie alternatief.

500 g vye, in stukkies gesny
300 g (1 ½ k) witsuiker
45 ml (3 e) suurlemoensap
60 ml (4 e) water
2.5 ml (½ t) fyn gemmer

Meng al die bestanddele saam in ’n mikrogolf veilige glasbak…geen plastiek…dit sal smelt a.g.v. die suiker wat ’n temperatuur van 120 ℃ bereik. Laat dit staan vir 1 uur lank vir sappe om te onttrek.

Plaas in mikrogolf (myne is 800watt) en kook vir 15 minute in totaal. Sodra die mengsel in die 15 minute periode begin kook stop en roer die mengsel baie goed deur (6-8 minute merk), daarna stop en roer elke 2 minute totdat jy sien die mengsel verdik. Toets die konfyt op ‘n koue piering om te sien of dit set.

Bottel die konfyt in warm gesteriliseerde flesse.

Rak lewe: 12 maande.
