Patat, sitrus en klappermelk room sop

‘n Geurige sop perfek vir die winter koue en wat binne 30 minute op die tafel gereed staan vir honger harte! Geure van lemoen, gemmer, klapper en soet van patat hang in die lug en saam met ‘n snytjie vars brood is hierdie die perfekte kombinasie.

1 kg patat geskil
1 groot ui in blokkies gesny
50 ml olyf olie
2 k aftreksel van keuse
1/4 t gemmer, fyn
1/4 t kaneel
2 knippies borrie
1 repie lemoenskil
1 k klapper room
sout en peper na smaak

Drukkoker: roerbraai die ui in olyfolie vir 5 minute en voeg dan die aftreksel by. Voeg die patat by en drukkook vir 30 minute.

Voeg die klapper room, gemmer, kaneel  by die patat en puree tot baie glad. Voeg die sitrus skil by en laat vir 10 minute met deksel staan sodat die skil se olies in die sop kan vrystel. Verwyder voor bediening.

As garnering het ek gesoute pistasie neute gebruik en dit is heerlik saam met die natuurlike soetheid van die sop.

Slow cooker: plaas al die bestanddele behalwe die klapper room en sitrus skil in die pot en kook vir 4 ure op hoog. Roer die klapper room by en maak puree. Voeg die sitrus skil by en infuse vir 10 minute voordat die sop bedien word. Verwyder die skil en bedien.
