Suurlemoen botter

Hierdie is seker een van die souse wat sommer baie in die Pienaar woning gebruik word. Nie net vir vis nie, maar ook oor warm aartappels wat in sout water op gekook word, pasta, hoender, aspersies, mangetout, gestoomde groenbone, sampioene en vele meer. Net twee bestanddele nodig, so eenvoudig soos dit. Ons werk die bestanddele soos volg 1:1

250 ml gesmelte botter
250 ml vars uit gedrukte suurlemoensap

Ek hou van ‘n suurlemoen botter om mooi een massa te vorm. Dus, smelt ek die botter, voeg die suurlemoensap by en dan laat ek dit buite by kamertemp rus om effens te verdik. Daarna roer dit goed deur en plaas in die yskas vir 10 minute en roer met draadklitser om een egalige mengsel te word. Herhaal indien nodig.

Verder maak ek variasies van hierdie sous soos volg:
Knoffel en dill of tiemie: 1 e van elk
Knoffel, parmassaan, tiemie, swart peper: 1 t knoffel, 4 e parmassaan, 2 e tiemie en peper na smaak
