Sangria

Ek is gek oor ‘n goeie Sangria en my Voedsel studente altyd hierdie resep geleer om vir hul gaste te maak. Ek hou van ‘n infusie van geure en hierdie is die naaste aan wat ek kan onthou toe ek my eerste Sangria geproe het. Geniet!

750 ml rooiwyn, Merlot of Shiraz werk heerlik
½ k brandewyn
1 kaneel stokkie
1 suurlemoen in wiggies
½ k lemoensap
2 e bruinsuiker
2 e heuning
2 k gingerale
2 appels, klokhuis verwyder en in blokkies gesny van 1 cm by 1 cm

Plaas kaneelstokkie en brandewyn in ‘n kastrol en bring net tot onder kookpunt. Plaas deksel op en laat afkoel vir geure om te ontwikkel.

Druk suurlemoensap uit in ‘n glasbeker en voeg die lemoensap, suiker en heuning by en meng goed om op te los. Voeg dan die res van die bestanddele by en laat oornag in die yskas trek.

Bedien met genoeg ys.
