Ratatouille

My groentetuin beloon my elke jaar met die aller wonderlikste groente in oormaat en dan maak ek gereeld my ma se weergawe van ‘n Ratatouille. Hoop jy geniet hierdie net soveel soos my gesin doen. In my tuin is daar ook altyd vars basillie kruid en tiemie. Jy kan besluit watter een van die twee vir jou heerlik is. Ek is persoonlik lief, alhoewel nie tradisioneel, om vars koljander blare of gedroogde gemengde kruie te gebruik. Ek het geen spesefieke mates want ek gooi by soos my hand daarna voel en proe soos ek roer.

Bestanddele lys vir Ratatouille

  • 2 brinjals/aubergines (eiervrug), geskil, 2 cm blokkies en liggies gesout
  • 1 rooi soet rissie of paparika, in repies gesny
  • 1 groot ui, skyfies gesny
  • 250 g murgpampoentjies (baby marrows)
  • 1 t knoffel, vars en fyn gedruk
  • 4 e tamatie puree/paste
  • 1 e groente sout (Boerekos met ‘n TWist kookboek of enige ander Groente sout)
  • 1/4 k Olyfolie
  • 1/4 k Balsamiese asyn
  • Peper na smaak

Metode vir Ratatouille

  • Sodra die eiervrug se vog onttrek is om die bitterheid te verwyder, spoel onder lopende water af.
  • Plaas al die bestanddele in ‘n oond skotte. Sprinkel met olie, balsamiese asyn en groente sout. Meng al die bestanddele goed deur.
  • Bak vir 30 minute by 180 C.
