1,2,3,4 Koek

Hierdie is eintlik een van die maklikste koeke om te onthou. Toe ek in Kanada gewoon het, het my Kanadees-Amerikaanse buurvrou die heeltyd gespog met hierdie “authentic” 1,2,3,4 koek van haar. Totdat ek eendag vir  haar die resep vra en sy dit sommer so woordeliks aframmel. Nou, vir my moet daar struktuur aan ‘n resep wees en goed moet sin maak.

Hier is haar vertaalde weergawe van ‘n botterkoek: 1 k botter, 2 k suiker, 3 k koemeel, 4 large eiers. Dan vir die res van die bestanddele is dit: 1t bakpoeier, ¼ t sout, 1t vanielje en 1 k melk. Room botter en suiker saam. Voeg al die droë bestanddele saam. Voeg die vloeistowwe saam. Klits alles met mekaar. Bak by 180 ˚C vir 25 minute.

Nota: Vir sjokolade weergawe: 50ml Kakao in 50ml Kookwater aangemaak. Voeg dan by die vloeistowwe voordat die droeë bestanddele bygevoeg word.
