The main focus of this class is pourable glazes like Mirror glazes and Ganache’s and how to prepare and use the glazes. The Mirrorglazes are applicable to gelatine set cakes like mousses and cheesecakes and the ganache’s to baked cakes. In both instances the cakes will be covered in class and the preparation of the cakes discussed. The will be enough time for discussions on cakebaking and preparation headaches and how to counteract them. Classes will be presented in English and Afrikaans. Students will have a chance in class to try their hand at glazing a product to take home.
