Spinasie en Feta Quiche

Vinnig en maklik. Die geure is eenvoudig tog uniek. Elke keer wat ek hierdie dis voorsit kan die mense nie ophou vra na die resep.

1 blikkie Room mielies
125 ml Room of melk
6 Eiers – geklits
½ k Ham – op gekap
3 e Koekmeel
3 e Botter
1 k Spinasie blare – reeds verwerk
½ k Feta kaas – in blokkies of wiggies gesny
½ k Cheddar kaas – gerasper of bloukaas
Sout en peper na smaak
½ t Knoffel – opsioneel

Klits die eier en koekmeel eers goed saam.

Meng al die bestanddele saam.

Skep in kors en bak by 180 ˚ C vir 35 – 40 minute of totdat die middelste gedeelte geset is.

Kors
1 k Cheddar kaas – gerasper
1 k Botter – gerasper
1 k Koekmeel
1 t Rooipeper

Meng al die bestanddele saam en vryf die mengsel met vingerpunte sodat die botter fyn opgebreek kan word.

Druk in gesmeerde pan van keuse en voeg die vulsel in die kors en bak.

VARIASIE
VLEIS VERVANG MET
Knoffel polonie gerasper of
Gaar spek of
Vis soos skelvis, snoek ens vervang die groente dan met aartappel
Hoender filette
Vegetaries: Kaas, haloumi, tofu

Murg pampoentjie

HOEVEELHEID: 2 ronde tert bakke of 1 lang pyrex bak of 12 kolwyntjies.

English Version
Filling
1 can of Sweet corn
125 ml Cream or milk
6 Eggs – beaten
½ cup Ham – chopped
3 tbsp Cake flour
3 tbsp Butter
1 cup Spinach leaves – already processed
½ cup Feta cheese – cut into squares or wedges
½ cup Cheddar cheese or blue cheese – grated
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp Garlic – optional

Whisk the egg and flour well together.

Then mix all the ingredients together.

Spoon into crust and bake at 180 ˚ C for 35 – 40 minutes or until the center is set.

Crust
1 cup Cheddar cheese – grated
1 cup Butter – grated
1 cup Cake flour – grated
1 tsp Cayenne pepper

Mix all the ingredients together and rub the mixture with fingertips so that the butter can be broken finely.

Press into a greased pan of choice and add the filling into the crust and bake.

VARIATION
Meat substitute:
Grated garlic polony or
fried bacon or
fish such as haddock, snoek etc. replace the vegetables then with potato
Chicken fillets

VEGETARIAN: Cheese, haloumi, tofu

REPLACE SPINACH WITH
Asparagus
Butternut
Red onion
Mushrooms
Marrow squash

QUANTITY: 2 round tart bowls or 1 long pyrex dish or 12 cupcakes.
